Checkpoints

Tell your child that you are going to regularly monitor the following:

  • Web browser history files (Internet Explorer Demo, Firefox Demo)
  • Instant Messenger (IM) chat log files (Demo).
  • IM contact list (Demo)
  • Profiles connected to email accounts (Hotmail, Yahoo!Mail, etc.) and social networking sites (MySpace, Facebook).
  • Search engines and the settings for safe search mode (Demo).
