Checkpoints

Tell your child that you are going to regularly monitor the following:

Web browser history files (Internet Explorer Demo, Firefox Demo)
Instant Messenger (IM) chat log files (Demo).
IM contact list (Demo)
Profiles connected to email accounts (Hotmail, Yahoo!Mail, etc.) and social networking sites (MySpace, Facebook).
Search engines and the settings for safe search mode (Demo).
