Please note, the sum of the “Reports” column in the jurisdiction of origin table above is higher than the total number of reports received within the calendar year as Cybertip.ca reports may contain multiple jurisdictions of origin.

"International" includes, but is not limited to reports from individuals outside of Canada concerned about the sexual exploitation of a child as well as reports of websites hosted in Canada from non-Canadian cybertip organizations.

Reports by incident type

Of the victims reported to Cybertip.ca, 64% were female and 26% were male; the gender for 10% was unknown.

When submitting a CSAM report to Cybertip.ca, members of the public can include multiple URLs they wish to report. These URLs can be submitted within a single report. Across the 17,738 reports of CSAM, members of public submitted 21,638 URLs in these reports.

Reports forwarded to Canadian police/child welfare agencies

Reports are sent to the RCMP's National Child Exploitation Crime Centre ( NCECC ) when triage shows victim/person of interest resides outside of Canada.
