In May 2005, Cybertip.ca became the fifth international hotline (outside of the European Union) to join the Association of Internet Hotline Providers - INHOPE. The mission of INHOPE is to coordinate and facilitate the work of Internet hotlines in responding to illegal and harmful use of, and content on, the Internet. INHOPE currently has 42 member hotlines tackling illegal material online.

In establishing Cybertip.ca, there was extensive consultation with other successful tiplines around the world, including the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children in the United States, the Internet Watch Foundation in the United Kingdom, and Save the Children hotline in Denmark.

Cybertip.ca continues to work closely with hotlines around the world.

We always appreciate the opportunity to collaborate with Cybertip.ca and look forward to continuing the strong relationship that’s been fostered well into the future. - Jeremy C. Fenton, Manager of Content Classification Section, Australian Communications and Media Authority
